Before taking a SPIN into the fitness world, I spent 8 years in Nashville chasing the dream of being a country music artist — yes, I even signed a record deal with Sony Music. But while the music industry was turning my life into a real life stress-filled country song, I discovered indoor cycling classes. And suddenly, there it was: a community, a safe space, and a place to to clear my head when my life felt overwhelming.
I loved it so much that I decided to bring that magic back home to Charleston, SC. In 2023, I opened Ride & Roll Cycling Studio, without ever having taught an actual class. Big dreams? Check, I got ‘em. Slightly terrifying? Absolutely. Worth it? Every single pedal stroke.
My goal was simple: to show people that there is nothing in this world that you can’t do with the right amount of determination and to create a place where you can ride, laugh, sweat, and feel a little more like yourself when you leave than when you walked in. Whether you’re chasing goals or just escaping your day, we’ve got space for you.
I don’t feel like I quit on my dreams — I just swapped the spotlight. Teaching spin gives me an outlet to perform every day, to watch people light up, and turn my passion into a shared experience. My perspective on what “making it” looks like just changed and, honestly, it’s way more fun this way. Who knew a stationary bike could be my new stage?
Pedal like EVERYONE is watching,
